As Project Management Team Leader , you will play a key role in driving successful product development projects in line with the global roadmap and project management standards. You will lead and develop a local team of Project Leaders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality. This role combines hands‑on project leadership with team management, stakeholder alignment, and process excellence , acting as a key interface between local and global management.
Responsibilities
Project Management Leadership Lead and develop the local Project Management team, ensuring all team members apply global PM frameworks, tools, and processes Act as the owner of project execution excellence, ensuring milestones, KPIs, and targets are achieved across all projects Serve as the first escalation point for project conflicts, risks, and deviations Project Delivery & Portfolio Execution Take overall responsibility for ongoing projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and quality Lead selected projects yourself, acting as a role model for best‑in‑class project management Monitor progress, manage risks, issues, and changes, and drive corrective actions where needed Planning, Resources & Budget Coordination Collaborate closely with R&D and key stakeholders to estimate effort, plan resources, and align project delivery with the product roadmap Ensure transparency and adherence to the global R&D budget Oversee the delegation of work to Project Leaders and balance resources across projects Stakeholder & Management Interface Act as the main interface for local and global management on all project management topics Provide clear, structured project and portfolio reporting Support cross‑site alignment for complex or system‑level projects Team Development & Process Improvement Coach, challenge, and support Project Leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders in project management topics Ensure appropriate training, development plans, and performance management for team members Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and standards in alignment with the global PMO
Skills & Experience

Your motivation and potential matter more than perfection: You have at least five years of job experience in project, portfolio, or process management in international environments, ideally with proven experience leading or coordinating project teams. You have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic development processes. Experience in the industry sector is a must. If coming from a different domain, you should then bring a solid technical understanding and the ability to quickly learn mechanical, electrical, electronic and lighting solutions, ideally supported by an Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5). You bring resilience, reliability, and high integrity as a team player, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently across management levels and multicultural environments. You communicate with clarity and credibility, effectively liaising with stakeholders at all levels. You have strong budget, cost, and profitability management skills. Fluency in English (spoken and written) and conversational basics of French is mandatory. Knowledge of quality and process standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) is a plus. A Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus. You have the availability to travel outside of UE occasionally.
